home workouts?
Question by hazen ben soba: home workouts?
Ok so heres the situation: I am going to be getting a very physical job for the next two weeks and it will be half the load after the holidays…I like working out in the privacy of my own home if its possible…any thinking I should be doing, im 6’4 239 lbs and am 23 years old. I got a belly on me and I would like to lose it. I dont have any equipment I might be able to get an exercise bike or that walking thing…any help would be good. I am on a diet already just need something physical I can do without anyone seeing me. Outdoor stuff is not for me cause its winter and there is 2 feet of snow already.

I highly recommend going to http://www.exercisetv.tv and checking out some of their workouts vids. They have stuff you can do at home, from 2 min. to 45 mins. target workouts to full body workouts. Their video’s are all free, and you can create an account and customize your own personal workout.

go the old fashion way it’s what im doing crunches pushups pullups buy the walking thing if you don’t like to jog outdoors

I have alot. Here are some:
Leg Circles: Hold on to the wall, lift right leg and bend knee to 90 degree angle. Circle your leg, and don’t move any part of your body. Do this 10-12 times.
Hip Circles: Stand about two feet away from a wall, with your feet spread out shoulder length. Lean towards the wall with your hands on the wall to support you. Bend knees slightly and rotate hips. Do this 10 times, then change directions.
Walks: Wall on your heels or the balls of your feet around the living room once.
Then there are simple pushups, sit ups, crunches. I also have weights. And I have leg weights that I wear around the house. (Start out small, then increase weight.) And you can jog in place.
And simply flex muscles. Butt and thigh muscles are the easiest for me.
These are just some that I do. You can also check out more exercises and diet tips on Yahoo! Health. I just went there. Or on the NY Times Health section, or just on Google.
Here is a great body weight program you can download from my site for free. Get it here:
