theres cardio equipment, free weights, and a lap pool.

No offnense, but if you are getting involved in MMA and you don’t have a basic understanding of how different excercises affect you body, you are a bit over your head.
You need to get a personal trainer, read some basic books, etc. THe answer to your question is far too complex and long to be answered here.
Borrom line, you will need to do a lot of cardio, strength, flexibility, and stamina training, and you will need to tailer each to your goals.

I don’t know what MMA is, but I do know that 24 Hour Fitness offers you training help. For no charge you can ask a trainer to show you the ropes on a couple of machines, or for a small fee they will really help you learn what to use and how to use it for various results.
