Is there anyone familiar with working out with gym equipment that can provide info on body workout routines?
Hello, I recently joined the LA fitness gym, and i’m a little confused on what to work on & what daily plan i should use. I currently weigh 220 at 5’9, I’m 17 years old, and have a BFP(body fat percentage) of 37%. I don’t know whether to work on Cardio machines 1st or Weightlifting 1st, or if i should just combine them both, but how. How should i workout, if I really want to lose 60 pounds and get muscle as I burn fat. I want to get nice, toned, good looking ripped muscles, and I know i need to burn that fat …Can anyone please guide me and provide any information about working out or a workout program that is fit for me? Info. on diet plans, working out plans, and any other general facts about this topic will be helpful.
Thank You!

Your still Young.. but in the marines we witness alot of people trying to cut weight. Here is what they do with outstanding results. You can choose to listen to this or not, but if success is what your looking for, here it is.
Number one, get on a supplement that will burn fat, and build muscle. I.E. Hydroxycut, number 2, limit yourself to about 1200-1500 calories per day with lots of fruits and vegetables. 3rd, if you want to strictly burn fat, yes… cardio is the way to go. If you want to lean your muscles lift weights, but light weights with lots of repetitions. Do not do big weight and less reps, it tends to not burn fat and make you bigger. This is what I do… I’m trying to gain mass, and seems like you need to just "tone up."
Lastly, drink only water… an occasional gatorade or something of that nature to replenish electrolytes. Stay away from soda, ect…
Remember, refrain from eating past 8 o’clock PM due to your body reaching its "catabolic" state. You metabolism slows down drastically and it will make you gain weight.
Hope this helps!!
