Posted on Nov 30, 2009 under Diets | No CommentWith the population becoming fatter and fatter, spiralling into ever-increasing obesity, the medical experts are constantly reminding us of the dangers to our health. There are many weight reducing diets available to help you and one of the popular ones is the Heart Foundation Diet.
This diet is sometimes stated to be the British Heart Foundation Diet but, I could not find any evidence of it on their website. It is known also as the Greenland Diet.
To achieve long-term weight loss, you need to eat a sensible diet, combine it with regular exercise and aim to lose 1 – 2 pounds each week.
But…what about that party, holiday etc. that is fast approaching and you want to lose a few pounds to look your best…quickly. Maybe you want to kick-start your regular weight loss. It is not advisable to be on a strict diet plan for long periods of time or as a regular practice, but can help to achieve immediate results as a confidence and motivation booster.
